It contains interactive books, encourages the use of email and provides opportunities for the children's work to be published on the site. The website also encourages children to explore and value the natural environment.
http://www.thebigbus.com Bright and colourful site containing lots of educational activities for children aged 3 – 11.
http://www.bobthebuilder.com Lovely colourful website featuring the legendary Bob the Builder. Here you will find lots of interactive games and puzzles such as ‘Design a house with Mr Bentley’ or ‘Help Mr Dixon with his deliveries’.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/education/numbertime Here you will find games, songs and really useful, printable, worksheets. You can also watch the fantastic cartoon adventures of ‘Addem and the Ants’.
http://www.mape.org.uk/kids/bigbooks/index.htm A series of pictorial stories including ‘Muddy Time’, ‘Where Do Hedgehogs Go?’ and ‘ Little Red Engine’ which you can read online or download to your computer and read at your leisure.
